On Saturday the Track & Field team placed 6th in the Catholic League Championship.
The top performance of the day came from Jim Baker who took second in the triple jump with a new personal best and a state qualifying mark.
Third place finishes came from the 4×1 team of Rob Groyon, Michael Butler-Kindle, Baker, and Ty McCoy, the 4×2 team of Groyon, Josh Boulanger, Ronan Dolan and McCoy, Zach Wareyko in the shot put, and Justin Palmer in the 300 hurdles. Boulanger also had a a big jump to capture fourth place in the triple jump.
This Friday the team will compete at the Lyons Township IHSA sectional for the right to qualify for the state meet.
