On Saturday, the track team competed in the Catholic League Indoor Championship at the University of Chicago. The Varsity placed 3rd, while the Frosh/Soph came in 8th.
Tahj Silas set a school record to become the high hurdles champion and also finished 5th in the 200. Jordan Boyd had a great day scoring in 4 events. He was the high jump champ, placed 3rd in both the 400 and long jump, and anchored the 4th place 4×400 team. Bryan Boyd place 2nd in the High Jump and 6th in the long jump.
Cody Bolden set 2 Freshmen school records to finish 6th in the 60m and 3rd in the 200. Justin Palmer to 2nd in the F/S high hurdles and was part of the 2nd place 4×200 team with Leo Staudacher, Tre Gladney, and Ty McCoy.
Both Jordan Boyd and Tahj Silas will compete at the Indoor state meet this Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan University.
